IEC 61169-16:2006 Provides information and rules for the preparation of Detail Specifications (DS) for pin and socket R.F. coaxial connectors, with screw coupling mechanism, for low to medium power applications. The connector is commonly known as the "type N". Three versions of the 50 characteristic impedance type N connector are included, each version being mateable with each of the others.

Overview

IEC 61169-16:2006 is the IEC sectional specification for RF coaxial connectors (type N) with an outer-conductor inner diameter of 7 mm (0.276 in) and a screw coupling. It defines rules and guidance for preparing Detail Specifications (DS) for pin and socket connectors used in low-to-medium power RF applications.
